  1. Gràsta

From the recording Gràsta

Grásta (pronounced graw  shtah) is a "Celtic" word that means grace (grace in the spiritual sense of the word-whatever the heck that might mean).

Lyrics

I’ve wandered in fear so often living in haste, now I spend my day in trying to remember
I’ve followed paths of self-indulgence and waste, now I’m letting go just trying to remember
The calls of the heart—the voice of the One,  I’m still becoming in this trying to remember
When our games were not just played to be won, timeless learning and I’m trying to remember
Dreams while awake for joy and for fun, eternal children here all trying to remember yeah~~~
If we ignore the truth, cast blame and deny   —   can we ever go home?
And laugh at each other and make us all cry  —  will we ever find home?
And hide our love behind secrets and lies  —  will we ever reach home?
For we were born in love—born with such innocent eyes
How do we free our children from war and disease? It seems so far away in trying to remember
And let go…our fears in dreams of sweet peace—children honoring and wanting to remember
The light from within, renewed in our trust, will we be guided by our yearning to remember?
And find the courage to do what we must, living clearness at the center of remembrance
In acts of kindness—small acts of great love, life is honored here and kept in our remembrance yeah
If we ignore the truth, cast blame and deny   —   can we ever go home?
And laugh at each other and make us all cry  —  will we ever find home?
And hide our love behind secrets and lies  —  will we ever reach home?
For we were born in love—born with such innocent eyes
Interlude:
Give us peace without winners and faith without sinners yeah
Peace without winners and faith without sinners yeah~~
Yeah, yeah, yeah~~~
If we ignore the truth, cast blame and deny   —   can we ever go home?
And laugh at each other and make us all cry  —  will we ever find home?
And hide our love behind secrets and lies  —  will we ever reach home?
For we were born in love—born with such innocent eyes
